St Mary Magdalene, Castle Ashby Burial Records () CASTLE ASHBY (noticed in Domesday Book as “Asebi”) is a parish and pleasant village seated on an eminence, 8 miles east-by-south from Northampton and about 7 south from Wellingborough, in the Mid division of the county, hundred of Wymersley, union of Hardingstone, Northampton.
